I have been doing my morning constitutional and posting here and there onsite.
Razor sharp(ish) observations on Life, The Universe And Everything.
By the way, by my calculations, Deep Thought has it way wrong by citing 42 as the answer.
On my Casio calculator, after entering all the worlds data, it came up with the very concise answer of "the square root of a lamb chop" just prior to the batteries bursting into flames.
However, I take no credit for solving that puzzle, I'm sure my contributions will only be recognised long after I depart this mortal coil.

But, I digress.
What I really think has caused this spontaneous calculator combustion is the fact that I have discovered that my goto topic category where I can immediately pick up on "Recent Discussions" has now become "Less Than Recent Discussions" as it is now dominated by "Announcements" which are in effect "Stickies" and have relegated actual topical "Recent Discussions" from the Premier League into the oblivion of the 2nd and 3rd tier divisions.
When I fed this into my Deep Fried calculator it decided that the Doomsday Clock was now well into overtime, caught fire and expired. It clearly thought life was ending.

So, my question, in summary, is this.
Would it not be much better for Ford Prefect, Arthur Dent et all if the Administrators could create a "Sticky" thread and keep "Recent Discussions" clear for what it is intended?
