Supporting the Trans Community, One Grant at a Time

The Beaumont is a prominent UK-based transgender support organisation, offers various grants to support communities, organisations, and individuals within the transgender community. 

These grants are designed to provide financial assistance for various needs, ensuring that support is accessible to those who require it.

The grants are categorised into five primary types: the Start-Up Fund, the Assistance Grant, the Community Grant, the Events Funds and the membership Hardship Fund.

The Start-Up Fund

A beacon of hope for new transgender social or support groups, providing them with the necessary financial support to cover their initial setup costs.

This can include expenses such as venue hire, promotional materials, and other essential resources needed to establish a new group. By offering this support, the Beaumont Society is fostering the growth of new support networks, ensuring more transgender individuals have access to the help and community they need.

The Assistance Grant

Beaumont ensures existing groups can continue their vital work without financial interruptions. This is a clear demonstration of our commitment to the transgender community.

The Events Grant

Can be used for various expenses, including venue hire, speaker fees, promotional materials, and other logistical costs.

For longstanding Beaumont Society Members only:

The Members’ Hardship Grant 

If you find yourself in severe financial hardship and have been a member for a minimum of five years, please consider applying for this grant. We can help you with a grant of up to £400 that could be used for emergency repairs of essential home items, unmanageably high utility bills, an unexpected rent increase or similar problems. You will need to keep all receipts and complete an application form. We will also need copies of financial documents. For further details,
