Bra Sizes That Fit Me!!

There are a number of formulas for this. I think the most common one is:
Under bust measurement (Band Size)
Place the measuring tape directly underneath the breast where the bra band sits. Make sure that the measuring tape runs horizontally around the upper body and is at the same height in the front and the back. The measuring tape should fit snugly, but not too tight; you should be able to breathe normally.
Measure underneath the bust line from the centre front all the way around.
Note the measurement in inches (round up to the nearest whole number). In my case 38”
Bust size
Measure your bust size by placing the tape measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust line.
Note the size in inches (round up to the nearest whole number). In my case 42”
The maths
Subtract the band size (38”) from the bust size (42”) to give your cup size 4
According to this, I am 38D. I don’t fill a D cup; a 38 is tight on the band. I don’t fill a C, but it is the best I can get, as a 38 B is just too tight all around.
However, according to the formula above, someone said, ' Go up a band size and down a cup from the best fit you can get. ' a 40 B fits like a dream and is snug on my boobs.
Now, I don't know if this helps anyone else as all our boobs are different, and mine are not that big. They are smaller than a 40B cis females!
I just thought it might help others.
The first image is a 38C & the Second a 40B fits better; my boobs are still developing (I hope!!), so maybe the 38C I can grow into.
Bra Size 38C
Bra Size 40B
I prefer unpadded lacy bras, and again, the padded ones are a different size. I'm not sure I want to go there right now!!
What about your boobs and bras? 🧖 I hope this is helpful. It will be interesting to see what anyone else has found that works
