Clothes sizes
Fashion and Makeup 8 replies 0 likes 0 votes 8 viewsNightmare subject for all of us. The sizing system using 10, 12, 14, 20 etc is just a little broken. Especially when it comes to Chinese tape measures! The same must be said about UK shops, there are variations there as well. I was pointed to a website, what size am I, think it’s still there but I really should have checked first, but then that would be me! Why go in one foot at a time when you can jump in with both?
It doesn’t cover every outlet on the high street but it helps in those shops and when finding something nice in a charity shop. All you do is put in your vital statistics and it will produce a graph showing your size line against shop sizes.
The real answer is to try things on in the shop. Scary I know but such a buzz looking at yourself in a new outfit in the changing room mirror.
It’s such a shame with the cost-of-living crisis some charity shops have closed their changing rooms because people were stealing clothes! Just what has happened to this country?
