Colchester Trip

We went to Colchester Castle and whilst looking at the armoury, Robyn informed me that she knows how to make chainmail, "I can make you a frock, if you like," she offered. "Won't it be a bit heavy? I enquired. "You get used to it," she retorted, "and besides, it's all to do with how you distribute your weight," she helpfully added.
I stopped off in London on the way back and visited the British Library. They have had to lock away The Magna Carta due to a recent failed attack on the priceless document; I found that so sad.
I then popped into the Queer Britain exhibition in Granary Square which is a small but well-presented display. There was the inevitable picture taken outside and as I struck a pose the proprietor declared “You’re fabulous, darling!” - well, if you say so, sweetie!
