Martine is yet again hosting a weekend but unlike previous years where it was held in the Dumbleton Hotel the venue has changed to the Three Ways House Hotel in Mickleton, Gloucestershire. This is an opportunity to have a four night weekend away being "you". However the first and last nights are purely optional and it's up to you to choose.

I was at last year's Rose's weekend and had a really lovely time. Martine is hoping to have the usual happenings:

'Miss Rose of the Year' Parade (I entered last year but sadly it wasnt to be me😪)

'Fashion Show - you can be a model! (I took part last year and it was great fun)

Trade stands throughout Saturday (Clothes, jewelry, etc last year)

Make-overs and photos (This is where my Forum picture was taken with makeup by Queen Bea though I don't know who it will be this year)

Swop Shop - Bring one item, take one (I took a pair of new toeless heels that didn't quite fit me but the girl who go them was delighted).

Fun quiz (This was good fun but I don't want to spoil the surprise)

Raffle with proceeds as gratuity for hotel staff. (saves a whip-round )

Free parking

So, as I have not been to this Hotel before I am unable to comment about the food, bar or entertainment but the venue is renowned for it's 'Pudding Club and to the Roses Website. (…One of our evenings will be a special event starting with a glass of Bucks Fizz and a jovial introduction by The Pudding Master followed by a light main course and then the Parade of Seven Traditional Puddings, with all its noise and ceremony. The aim being to taste them all and then to vote for your favourite pudding of the night over coffee. Guests will each receive a certificate!…)
