Wow !! Thank you so much Helen Back for organising a fabulous day out on the Severn Valley Railway.

At all the stations people were dressed in 1940's outfits, the stations were decked out in wonderful 40's memorabilia, at Bewdley George Formby sang and played his ukulele to a very pleased crowd. "When I'm cleaning Windows" was my favourite!

We then went to the Visitors Centre at Highley, certainly a brilliant place to visit!! We had lunch, a chat and laughs, before boarding our train to Bridgenorth, again full of 1940's stalls, people in amazing outfits and chance for a cuppa and a cake.
