The Transliving October Weekend is still happening!

It takes place at the Haddon Hall Hotel, Eastbourne where the whole hotel is booked out to Transliving making it an ideal place for those who have yet to gain confidence mixing with non TG/CD people. You can, if you wish, hide in the Hotel for the whole weekend or take tentative steps out of the Hotel and along the promenade. The tariff is for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast and lunches are available to purchase from the ground floor bar. All the times I have been going this bar remains open until very very late allowing those of us who wish to just chat while the disco is on or once it is finished. Many time it's been after 3am before I headed up to my room.

The Haddon Hall Hotel is a typical "Bus Tour" hotel in that the single rooms can be a bit small but they are clean.

On previous visits (and I suspect that it will be the same again) a walk along the pier takes place on the Sunday to the charming tea room at the end of the pier and they do have a selection of tea's and very lovely cakes (coffee available too).

The Hotel is located two buildings away from the main promenade and it is only a short walk into town where there is a large shopping center. Why not visit their Primark and ruffle their clothes - go on you know you want to. LOL. For those of you who like Wetherspoons you will be delighted to know that Eastbourne town center has two! A ten minute walk will take you to the Eastbourne Turner Gallery that has a decent coffee shop.

There is on street parking but this only costs £2 for the whole weekend. Vouchers are purchasable from the Hotel reception. The station is only a ten minute walk away for those coming by train. The train originates in London's Victoria Station > East Croydon > Gatwick > "other stations" > Eastbourne.

The Dinner B&B cost for the three nights is:
Single Room: £270 (including the £60 deposit)
Twin Room (Single Occupancy): £330 (including the £60 deposit)
Twin or Double Room (2 sharing): £540 (including the £120 deposit)

Yesterday I paid for my weekend so I will be there - maybe you will too? See you there?
