Managing Your Profile

Private and Public Parts of Your Profile

Your profile consists of two distinct parts.

  • Your private details: these are only visible to you and to our administration team.
  • Your 'public' profile, which is visible to other members who are logged into the Beaumont Society website, cannot be seen by non-members.

Keeping Your Profile Up-To-Date

Please keep your profile up-to-date so that notifications about your subscription go to the right place. If you receive the magazine by post, please ensure we have your correct address details or your magazine may be mis-delivered.

Updating Your Profile

All the sections of your profile can be updated from the main menu when you are using the members' website (except from the forum pages). Click on the menu icon shown in the top-right (shown with the symbol) and then select 'Your Account.' A drop-down list will open: now select 'View & Update Profile.'

You will now see the parts of your profile displayed in different sections. Under each section, there is a button to change that part of your profile.

The Different Parts of Your Profile

These parts of your profile are only visible to our admin team and are not displayed to other users:

  • Full name
  • Username
  • Email address
  • Address (excluding your country)
  • Telephone numbers
  • Subscription type
  • Gift aid status and details

These parts of your profile are displayed on your public which other members can view:

  • Chosen name
  • Gender ID
  • Display Location
  • Region
  • Tagline
  • Description
  • Interests
  • Images
